What is a Mighty Mutts?

Mighty Mutts is an official 501(c)(3) organization that was incorporated in 1992. In that time, we have rescued more than 1,000 animals and have placed more than 700 of them in loving permanent homes to date. Each applicant undergoes an in-home interview and has references checked before an animal is turned over to his or her care. Mighty Mutts promises to always take an animal back if ever the need arises.

Where Will My Donation Go?

Mighty Mutts is presently caring for more than 250 cats and dogs. Each animal is immediately neutered, vaccinated, blood tested, and checked for parasites before entering our facility. In addition, all of these animals must be fed and many have special needs. We are also currently involved in building a sanctuary for our animals. This has put a terrible strain on our organization, which subsists solely on donations. Most vehicles donated will therefore be sold through a licensed dealer in order to raise cash to allow us to continue our good work. A few vehicles will be kept to enable us to continue our nightly feeding route.
